Completed for an auto repair operation
Concentric Geoscience developed a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and liaised with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment (MOE) on behalf of an auto repair business that removed two petroleum USTs from their property in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. The CAP involved soil excavation, groundwater collection and off-site disposal. Concentric Geoscience oversaw the implementation of the CAP, directed remedial activities and coordinated the disposal of soil and groundwater. During the remediation activities, a prominent sand seam was identified as a preferential contaminant migration pathway, exacerbating efforts for groundwater control and soil removal. Concentric Geoscience field personnel effectively predicted the impact of the preferential pathway, allowing for proactive site management and cost control.
