Completed for a municipal landfill facility in Saskatchewan
Concentric Geoscience was retained by a municipality in southcentral Saskatchewan to conduct a Phase II ESA and capacity/feasibility study for the town’s landfill. The ESA was completed to meet the facility’s Permit to Operate a Waste Disposal Ground and involved installation and sampling of multi-level groundwater monitoring wells, surface water sampling and hydrogeologic testing. The intent of the overall study was to determine if there were environmental impacts from the long-standing operation of the landfill as part of a larger environmental monitoring program and, to assist the town in developing a medium- to long-term waste management plan.
