Completed for a construction contractor in Humboldt, SK
Concentric Geoscience was retained to conduct a Phase I/II ESA and provide remediation guidance for the purchaser of a former retail service station property in Humboldt, SK. As a result of the Phase I/II ESA, it was determined that the former underground storage tanks (USTs) and fuel dispensers extended partially off-site, onto a municipal right of way. Concentric Geoscience provided recommendations to comply with the Environmental Management and Protection Act as it related to the presence of off-site adverse impacts and advised on the remedial excavation of adversely impacted soil. Concentric Geoscience is retained to undertake verification soil sampling and complete post-remedial groundwater sampling and a Closure Report.
